If you are a property owner, or want to buy, you should interview at least a few agents and ask them about their company. Ask what type of training is offered, ask if their management pushes them to use their affiliated services like escrow and title of if you have the unpressured freedom to choose what’s best for you, and ask them if they’d recommend their own brokerage if you were interested in a real estate career. These are fair questions. Wouldn’t you want your agent to have the best industry training available? Look for the most technologically advanced brokerage, find out who has the best resources and choices available to you that aren’t dictated by budget constraints and corporate interference.
